Biography
For the past 30 years Linda Gorham has engaged audiences internationally with poignant and humorous family stories; interactive folktales; notably twisted fairy tales; and riveting, well-researched historical stories. Each performance is infused with Linda’s unconventional humor and her signature ‘sophisticated attitude’.

Publications: Linda has two award-winning CDs. Jumping on Grandma’s Plastic Covered Couch is a revealing look at the inspiring and often unpredictable world of family, love and self-identity. Common Sense and Uncommon Fun breathes new life into timeless multicultural folktales.

Awards: Linda has been added to the Wall of Storytelling Faces and Voices at the International Storytelling Center in Jonesborough, Tennessee. Linda was awarded the Distinguished National Service Award by the National Storytelling Network and the Linda Jenkins Brown Nia Award for Service from the National Association of Black Storytellers.
